A NOTE FROM THE DIRECTOR -
I am extremely proud of the band students, not for their accomplishments, but for their hard work, perseverance, and dedication. I have rarely seen a group of young people work so hard to accomplish a goal, especially in this time of instant gratification. We continue to get better by leaps and bounds each week, and it’s exciting to see each performer grow individually through each rehearsal. This group has also surprised a lot of people, including myself, and probably the parents as well. I remember having staff meetings during band camp, and seriously considering changing shows because it was just too hard. We have a very young, inexperienced band this year, and they haven’t let that stop them one bit. Not only are they marching and playing the show, they are performing it! Congratulations on your success Saturday, and congratulations for the hard work you put in to achieve it.

“The best never rest!”
