Band Announcements and Update!

CandyGrams a HUGE success!
Wow! I don't have exact numbers yet, but was told this was our largest CandyGram sale to date! Thank you to all of the volunteers (see photos below) who worked like busy little bees assembling the CandyGrams. A special "thank you" goes to Peggy Oliver for all the weeks of work behind the scenes to get us ready to assemble! She worked many late nights and weekends. It was almost impossible to get her to pose for the camera...but we got her anyway! Peggy, we can't thank you enough for your tireless efforts! Also, thank you to the ladies who tied ribbons on the flowers...Jackie Morrison, Julia Edwards, Judy Rittenour and Elizabeth Staten. We appreciate all of our volunteers!

Peggy Oliver...we got ya anyway! You are the lady that gets it done!!!

Our wonderful volunteers!

ACA Concert Band Scores Superior at District!
We are so proud of the High School Concert Band for a fantastic performance at last week's district competition. They scored all "1's" (highest score) for a Superior rating! Mr. Stough, thank you for your diligence in rehearsing the band and stretching them beyond their comfort zone to a higher level of excellence. Kids, thank you for your commitment to the band! Also, thank you Mr. Harrell for leading the Beginner and Intermediate Band at the competition. They performed for "comments only" and did a superb job!

Taking direction from their fearless leader!

Coca-Cola Fundraiser

Coke Fundraiser for Beginner, Intermediate and High School Band Members
Order forms went home with students last Monday, February 12th! We are asking each student (Beginning Band, Intermediate Band, and High School Band) to sell at least 10 cases. Take it to work, tell your friends and neighbors, and pass it around to parents at the ball field! Let's make this the best Coke sale we've ever had! Orders will be taken February 12th through February 26th. Delivery day is Wednesday, March 14th.
